Dr. Monique AkassiMonique L. Akassi has been named special assistant to the president for diversity, equity, inclusion, and strategic initiatives at West Liberty University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and comparative literature from the University of Cincinnati; a master’s in English composition and rhetoric from Wright State University; and a doctoral degree in English composition and rhetoric from Morgan State University.
